Welcome to the Allante-XLR Chapter of CLC website!
Under our Club Constitution we were established for the following purposes: for the development, publication, and exchange of information pertaining to Cadillac Allante and XLR automobiles; to encourage the maintenance, preservation of all Cadillac Allante and XLR’s; and to promote social fellowship among the members of the club. “It’s not just the car …. It’s the people”!
To better serve our members, we are a part of the International Cadillac & LaSalle (CLC) Club. The organization provides contact with 1,000’s of members in the U.S. and outside the U.S. Also, there is the CLC Museum and Research Center, Inc. There is a dedicated facility on the grounds at Hickory Corners, MI. Built with contributions and support from our club.
While there are a few other Allante-XLR Clubs in the U.S., this club is the only one owned by the members, as compared to privately owned or as a part of a business.
Our Chapter offers a monthly newsletter, this website, a monthly member’s meeting both locally and by Zoom. And for those available, an opportunity for members to come together in the way of driving tours, workshops, car shows, museums, etc. And we have a Technical Advisor available to members.
The year 2020 and now 2021 have been a challenge with the COVID situation. Our calendar is being developed slowly because of it. We have in prior years been invited to join our sister CLC Regions (West of the Lake and Badger) and vice-versa for various activities. In fact, in 2022 the CLC Grand National will be held in the Chicago area, sponsored by the West of the Lake Region. We hope to be available to help in any way we can.
